I Don't Mind...
Björk
After an incredibly challenging week, the surprise of attending Cornucopia was most very welcome. This was my first concert since the pandemic began and it couldn’t have been a better experience. I’m convinced that Björk is magic. If you know me you know my music tastes and her CDs filled my cases along with the likes of Erasure, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, REM & The Cure. She was the only one in that group whom I’ve not seen live. Around the second or third song Björk sang Arisen My Senses. She and the music were so powerful that I cried through the whole song. I was so grateful to be in that moment last night. Thank you to Ryan and his friend Steve who alerted us to the concert the day of the show. We showed up to the venue. No tickets in hand and purchased 8th row left of center 30 minutes before the show. I should have known it was meant to be, before I knew about any hint of a live show or that she was even on tour, I played All is Full of Love during my morning ablutions.
Sedona
First visit to Sedona was a vivid and transformational experience. I’m looking forward to returning.
